Technology for communicating is something that has been advancing increasingly more rapidly for the past 17 years. The idea of a wireless, mobile phone once seemed impossible, but is something that is crucial in society’s everyday life. Cell phones have been around only since 1995 and have evolved at a faster pace than any other modern form of technology. Cell phones started out as something a person occasionally carried around or kept in their car, but today, 91% of American’s don’t leave home without one. This is probably because there are 1 billion more cell phones than there are people in the world. Since 2005, the Apple iPhone emerged as an amazing platform, made for loading ground-breaking apps, designed with finger-flicking ease. They come out with new generations of iPhones at least once a year, with ever-expanding features and improvements. Cell phone companies are striving to keep up with the public’s demands, representing an industry that is always on the move
